If I won't be given a chance
to stay by your side when you see the world on it's worst,
then I will just give you my eyes,
for my eyes will only see how beautiful ugly things could be

My eyes who are pure and innocent
will always see things differently
and because I fear that you wouldn't let me cover your eyes
when the world bares it's disgusting side,
I'd rather leave you this pair of eyes
than to let you dwell on this corrupted part of the world you see

I promise that my eyes will only see
the joy and wonder of things
because I know, this is the only thing
you cannot bring yourself to do
and the only thing you wouldn't let me do
